These illustrious partners include UNESCO, the UNEP, UNWTO, ISESCO, YMP and Earth Charter.
LEAF International has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ENO Environment Online.
Launched in 2021 by the United Nations Environment Programme and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration is a rallying call for the protection and revival of ecosystems all around the world, for the benefit of people and nature. It aims to halt the degradation of ecosystems, and restore them to achieve global goals. In line with FEE’s goal of protecting global biodiversity as laid out in our strategy, GAIA 20:30, FEE was proud to be named a Supporting Partner of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration for the protection and restoration of ecosystems and biodiversity around the world.
ENO Environment Online is a global community of schools and communities. It is administered by the ENO Programme Association in Joensuu, Finland. ENO made a commitment at Rio+20 Summit, of planting 100 million trees by 2017. The MOU strengthens our common missions.
Rainforest Partnership aims to protect standing forests by working closely with rainforest communities and engaging people worldwide during World Rainforest Day each year.
Since 2019, the LEAF programme has been part of the European Institute for Outdoor Adventure Education and Experiential Learning. A European network of professionals, from social and youth workers, teachers and educators, academics and students.
